Many of you have wanted to see the Survey but could not find it. Most of the Board did not want to publish it but they were forced to by the laws. At the Annual Meeting it was delivered to you sugar-coated and summarized, praised, and made to look harmless so in effect it was “sent to Coventry” as the English would say. Such is the way of politicians.
It is well worth your time for it says that regardless of the Boards claims, this is not the land of milk and honey and they are the reason.
But you need to see this for yourself and do your own critical thinking, Question #2 on pages 3, 4, and 5 may upset you, don’t look at it if you happy living in La La Land, that is the Board Officers description of life here at TLPOA.
Here is how you get to the Survey:
First you must have user ID and password. You can can get these from Margie New at margnew@gmail.com . If you are a property owner she can not refuse you access.
1 – Go to https://www.tlpoa.org/ to get to the “Home Page”
2 – Put your mouse pointer on “HOA” in the top heading. You will get a pull down menu, click on “Forums”
3 – There are three places on this page to “Login”. Two in blue print, one at the bottom in black, if you have logged in before this will take you directly for “Forums”.
4 – Otherwise you will be asked for your ID and Password, enter them.
5 – Again you will then put your mouse pointer on “HOA” in the top header. You will get a pull down menu, click on “Forums”, then scroll down the alphabetical list to “Polls/Surveys” and Click it.
You will get a 26 page PDF that you can print if you like (uses a lot of paper and color ink) or just print the pages you want to read later. The keys elements are the comments are Pages 3, 4, and 5.
Good reading, I hope this gets you thinking about the power figures Board. Some very skillful talkers there are hard at work convincing you that this is La-La-Land and you don’t need to do anything but follow them to be happy. Reality is that whatever happens, in a working democracy you must form your own opinions. Good luck.
